you will expect everything to be handmade in haute couture (but maybe not the fabrics). it is quite amazing when you zoom in to this piece and found that it is hand-woven. so many details that are to be spotted! this is a rather toned-down piece (comparing with the others in the collection) and you would not understand until you see this.




it appears to be black pony skin, hand-woven. it is rather impossible to weave it with machines as the weaving stops at the seams.



moreover, silver studs were used inside the strips for a subtle glitter effect. this weaving method is done panel by panel to achieve a flexible and thin fabric. it may be done with the steps below:
