this was in my dreams when i was a kid but i wasn't expecting it to be real now...

this 1 billion (USD) dollar 500-ft super floating city is designed by Yacht Island Design, incorporating streets of Monaco (a section of Monte Carlo), including buildings, helicopters, submarines and a beach - could be home to 16 guests and 70 crew with the main apartment spread over three floors and 445 square meters.

it will feature smaller versions of Monaco's famous landmarks such as the Monte Carlo Casino and racetrack, as well as swimming pools, tennis courts, a cinema, a go-kart track and a Hotel de Paris.

do we need to go to Monaco anymore??

girls love to decorate stuff around when they feel bored... like their rooms, closet (hehe... in another way), kitchen, shelves, boyfriend (play dress-ups?). and it's a norm to have too much stuff going on and might at the end look a bit tooo much.

textile artist Magda Sayeg founded Knitta Please - a knit graffiti group credited with spawning the international yarn bombing movement (it's on June 11 this year!). Magda continues to install her work around the world in commissioned exhibitions and on her own renegade travels, in addition to hosting workshops, teaching classes, and leading community projects.

i'm loving her attitude to make the world look colorful and happy =)

and they have done this installation in The Blanton's Faulkner Plaza - the trunks of all 99 trees in between the museum's Michener and Smith buildings have been covered with colorful yarn, crafted by over 170 local volunteer knitters. great community effort to spice up the space with beautiful harmony with the nature

i wanna be part of it... but i need to pick up knitting again first... don't wanna leave holes all over.... wonder if they are interested to come to hk... this is just fun and exciting!

This is my first time going into a prison.... This is one in Central HK, which has a long history. It has been made empty and is now used for selected design/art exhibitions. Frankly, the first impression was kinda cold. There are some dark rooms which you can imagine what would take place in there. Seriously, I wouldn't expect so many detailed rules in the area. It's a nice and quiet place but too much history and happenings.
