sizes and shapes are so different between asian and europeans... that's why big brands invest so much in garment and shoes product technicians
and one good news for hong kongers - Rupert Sanderson has launched the specially made 'The Hong Kong' collection for us! it is transformed from the existing style - the Winona, narrower than the normal Winona, and with more support on the arch to improve comfort. that's exactly what asian feet needs, better fit for better walking (always lots of walking when there's serious traffic during rush hours)
and soooo many color options! it's the perfect every-day work shoes
lots of new shops opening... and here comes.... TOM FORD!
The long awaited Tom Ford’s women’s store finally opened its doors in Hong Kong this weekend!
There will be casual day wear and evening wear in store. As spring/summer is the designer’s first collection, offerings are limited but will be doubled in autumn (wholesale will start next season).
If you like the cool luxe looks, you have to get ready - tuxedo jackets for women, constructed by hand with Ford's signature glam touch. Apart from clothes, there are a complete range of bags, shoes and jewellery, glam it all up!
Asia CEO Mark Prendergrast confirmed that Ford will be making a personal appearance in Hong Kong on May 21. He will also be opening a women’s store in Beijing. Will it be next to Lanvin? We'll keep checking =)
